Meet Our Team Feature

meet the teamMancini Realty has a dedicated team of realtor associates who want to share their knowledge and passion of realty and Long Beach Island with you.  Our “Meet Our Team” Feature is to introduce you to our highly qualified team.

Today, we introduce Richard Dodd.  Richard’s philosophy is that “all realtors are not the same” and we agree.  Richard has a unique background to deliver successful results as your real estate partner.

Richard’s career began in the high technology industry before starting his own software company and consulting business.  He changed career paths and wrote a Five Star rated novel on Amazon, “Betrayal by Blood and Demons” under the pen name of Ian McBride.  His publishing credits include major New York newspapers, The Huffington Post and locally in The SandPaper.

Prior to becoming a realtor,  Richard owned real estate in New Jersey, Upstate New York, New York City and beach properties in North Carolina, South Carolina and New Jersey.  He knows the inner workings of investment properties, lots/land use for new construction, existing home sales/purchases and rentals.

Richard is also a  certified strategic negotiation consultant and has led consulting engagements to create win/win outcomes in major industries (manufacturing, entertainment, consulting).   He applies this knowledge to his real estate work along with his personal experience and real estate education.

At Mancini Realty, we agree that Richard has an unique background to deliver results as your real estate partner in success. Whether you are selling, buying, investing, building or renting, Richard provides professional services.

We also need to recognize Richard’s volunteer work on LBI and in NYC.  Richard  actively volunteers with the 9/11 Tribute Center in New York City and lead tours of the Memorial Site.  He also volunteered in the recovery efforts in 2001 after the terrorist attack and became a strong advocate to pass legislation to provide healthcare and financial relief to first responders and other victims.

On LBI,  Richard volunteers to restore Barnegat Bay as a member of ReClam the Bay (RCTB). He has given presentations at the LBI library in Surf City on the steps we can take to protect this fragile estuary. He has also worked on the operation of shellfish nurseries (upwellers) in Beach Haven, Surf City and Barnegat Light that have raised and repopulated over 15 million clams and 5 million oysters into Barnegat Bay since 2005. Richard was recently certified as a Master Shellfish Gardener by Rutgers University and the Barnegat Bay Shellfish Restoration Program.

Richard brings you not only real estate knowledge and experience but passion for Long Beach Island, confirming “all realtors are not the same”.  To contact Richard, you can call our office at 609.492.2256 or reach him on his  cell phone  (609) 618-2741.
